A popular park in Warminster is set to received several upgrades to make it a more fun and safe place for all Bucks County families. Dino Ciliberti wrote about the local safety measures for the Warminster Patch.

Township Manager Tom Scott recently gave updates on an addition to Warminster Community Park: a large cover that will provide shade on hot days. Utilizing funds from the American Recovery Act, the build of this structure will make the park a more safe place for parents to bring their children.

“We want shade over a portion where the kids are playing there,” Scott told the Board of Supervisors.

The plans will be further discussed at a meeting on Oct. 6.
