The Family Service Association will be hosting a charity golf event to benefit local children in need, as well as their families.

The event will be held a the Jericho National Golf Club in New Hope on Oct. 3 from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Proceeds from the event will go to local organizations that are working to help Bucks county children that are facing poverty and food insecurities.

At 10:30 AM, registered attendees can sign in and enjoy a lunch and time at the driving range. At 12:00 PM, the Shotgun start (scramble format) will begin. At 5:30 PM, there will be an outdoor cocktail hour, as well as light fare and awards.

“For the past 22 years, the Drive for Youth Golf Outing has supported programs and services that directly benefit children and families in our community,” event organizers said on the official event page.

Those who love golf and helping others can use their skills on the course and their wallets to help those in need in their own towns. Events like these are making a large impact on our local communities.
