A Jewish deli and restaurant in Doylestown, which closed days after its grand opening, surprised locals by temporally opening this past weekend. Ed Doyle wrote about the surprise opening fro TAP Into Doylestown.

Matzah Balls, a Jewish-style delicatessen and restaurant in Doylestown, surprised locals by opening their doors back up over the weekend. During the Doylestown Arts Festival, locals and visitors alike were surprised to see the establishment back open, as they were suddenly closed just days after their grand opening in August.

A dispute between the spot’s owners and the landlord led to the new eatery being closed without warning in August. Now, the deli’s future remains uncertain.

“Things are still in a little bit of limbo right now,” said Kevin Aniess, the restaurant’s business manager. “But in the next three days, we hope to be able to make an announcement for a new path moving forward.”
