Bucks County BookFest Coming to Doylestown in Late September

The Bucks County native is using the area as the backdrop to her latest work.

The annual Bucks County BookFest will be held in Doylestown for two days in late September, a bastion of fun for local bookworms.

The Bucks County event is a two-day celebration of all things books. Talks from authors, publishers, and writers in all other formats will speak at several Doylestown locations to give readers and writers an insider look at the world of book publishing and writing.

Elin Hilderbrand, author of The Hotel Nantucket, will be the event’s Keynote Author. she will speak at an in-person event at the Life Sciences Auditorium in Doylestown on Sept. 23.

A writers workshop will be held at Delaware Valley University on Sept. 24. The annual Book’n’Brew will be held at various Doylestown eateries and breweries on Sept. 24.

“The Bucks County Book Festival celebrates literacy, sparks imagination, and inspires people of all ages by connecting authors and readers,” event organizers said on their official page.
