Local Couple Honored by Doylestown Borough For Years of Service to the Community

The local couple has been acknowledged for their years of community service.

A Doylestown couple has been acknowledged and honored for their years of community service that have made a significant impact on the town. Freda R. Savana wrote about the local couple for the Bucks County Herald.

Tom and Carole Logan have been giving back to their community for over 50 years. In honor of their service to the Doylestown area, the Borough will see the intersection of Harvey Avenue and Doyle Street acknowledged as “Logan’s Corner.” Tom has operated Logan Auto Body at that intersection since 1968.

The couple has supported student and other athletes in the area for decades. Through working with the Doylestown Athletic Association, they have been able to support local gymnasts, rugby teams, and Irish dancers, to name a few types of Bucks County athletes. The two have also supported the local fire department through several means.

Tom has also become known for deliver the annual Doylestown Christmas Tree to the Borough for more than 30 years.

“Both Carole and Tom changed people’s lives through their humility and intervention,” said Doylestown Mayor Noni West.
