In collaboration with the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce, Delaware Valley University will be hosting their third annual Spark Bowl in November.

Spark Bowl is a competition set up in the tradition of the popular show “Shark Tank”. Entrepreneurs, innovative businesses and nonprofit organizations will be called to address social, consumer and business-oriented challenges in and around the Bucks County area, using problem-solving ideas to boost economic growth through the county.

“The Board of the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce is very proud to be working again with Delaware Valley University on Spark Bowl to support our greater community,” said Dr. Vail Garvin, the CEO of The Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce. “We’re building on the success of last year’s competition. The competition enriches the local business community and gives students the type of real-world experience that DelVal is known for.”

The top three competing teams, as well as the top three teams of student business consultants, will have a chance to win cash prizes. Last year’s winners walked away with over $28,500 in prizes.

This year’s Spark Bowl will take place on Nov. 17 from 5:30 PM to 8 PM. All activities will take place in the Life Sciences Building on the university’s campus.
