Supervisors voted unanimously to start the process of creating the commission.

After almost two years of online sales, the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office announced that it will resume doing real estate sales in person come early December.

The Sheriff’s Office has been utilizing Bid4Assets to host the real estate sales online since the beginning of the pandemic. Now that numbers are down and people are beginning to go back to something resembling normal, the sales will continue in-person as they did before the pandemic.

“On December 9th and every Sheriff Real Estate Sale date thereafter, the sale will take place in the Bucks County Administration Building, with registration beginning at 10 am and the sale beginning at 11 am” the Sheriff’s Office said in an online statement.

Sheriff Frederick Harran is excited to see the sales continue on an in-person basis. Like so many other events and activities in the Bucks County area, hosting these sales in person will help locals to regain a sense of normalcy that has been lacking in the area for the past two years. Also, the sales will benefit both residents and local law enforcement.

Estate sales will be held at the Bucks County Administration Building, located at 55 East Court Street in Doylesytown, in Room 112.
