The model rail yard has stood on the property for 22 years.

A Bucks County man has turned his front yard into a full scaler model train rail yard. Video editor Lyndsey Teague documented the fun project for 6ABC Action News.

From a creative hobby to a professional setup, Tony, of Upper Bucks County, got his first train set when he was 11. He said he was hooked ever since.

Tony’s model rail yard has been outside his local home for 22 years three years after his family moved in. The G-scale, or Garden scale, railroad features trails going in circles around the front yard, as well as some going around smaller areas within it.

“It was just something to do with a small front yard,” the Bucks County native said.

Complete with model houses, towers, and a full mini town to boot, Tony’s setup has become the sight to see in his neighborhood, with local children in awe of the locomotive trails.
