ESL Class Is Wished Well: ¡Felicitaciones! Herzlichen Glückwunsch! Complimenti! Gratuluję!
Adult learning provider Vita Education Services, Doylestown, recently celebrated the completion of its curriculum for adult English as Second Language (ESL) students, as reported in the Bucks County Herald.
The students, like their counterparts nationwide, persevered amid swaps in learning environments (in person vs. online), logistical challenges, tech concerns, and time constraints.
Nonetheless, they are now well equipped to continue acclimating to U.S. life.
Vita’s ESL Program Director Karina Wegelius recognized the students but also praised the hard work of her teachers and tutors, who were “flexible and understanding” throughout.
Although the year is over, the skill-building is not. Many students will continue refining their language abilities. Upon this newly attained bilingual foundation, many seek GED accreditation, college degrees, or professional certifications.
Also of note, several members of the 2022 class are from Ukraine, here to begin a new life away from the current hardships of Eastern Europe.
More on Vita Education Services and its crop of newly skilled linguists is at the Bucks County Herald.
