Visitors to and residents of Bucks County have a brand-new fun destination to experience, as TreeTrails Adventures opened its ziplining activities on Friday. Michele Haddon wrote about the exciting activities for the Bucks County Courier Times.

The new ziplines are located at the Phoenix Sports Club on Bristol Road in Lower Southampton. It is owned by Tree Course Adventures, a company that specializes in aerial ropes adventure course site development.

TreeTrails Adventures is currently offering three trails for ages 7 and up, with each one varying in their degree of difficulty and elevation.

Ed Packer, general manager of the park, discussed the most difficult trail, known as the black trail.

“I’ve done the black in Mystic. It’s hard.” said Packer, referencing the TreeTrails flagship location in Connecticut. He says that those trails are for anyone looking for an extreme challenge.

“There are times when, as you’re going through an element, you have to pause and think through what you’re doing. What’s my next move? There’s some trickery that may come to play, but I’ll leave it at that. There are some things in there that will test your physical endurance as well as your mental endurance.”
