Parx Casino, Bensalem, Helps Parlay Pennsylvania Gaming Industry to Monthly Income Record

Parx Casino's November 2021 performance helped drive a record month for the Pa. gaming industry.

Pa. casinos reported record revenue for November 2021, increasing their take by more than 50 percent of 2020 results. Four local gaming houses contributed to the haul, including Parx Casino in Bensalem. Nosa Omoigui dealt out the results for iGB North America.

Parx contributed $56.3 million in revenue to the state, behind Chester County’s Hollywood Casino at Penn National ($60.1 million) and Montgomery County’s Valley Forge Casino Resort ($57.1 million).

Parx’ slot revenue total of $31.6m was a 14.7 percent improvement from 2020.

Year-over-year, Philadelphia’s Live! Casino saw the highest jump in revenue statewide, increasing more than 6,000 percent from 2020 to 2021.

Regarding sports betting, the statewide performance amounted to $761.6 million, up 55 percent. From this total, operators took in sports betting revenue of $63.7 million, also a record high.
