Take heart, parents who tire of tripping over children’s massive doll houses or oversized action figure playsets. Super Impulse, a toy manufacturer in Bristol, is embracing small in a big way.

In a press statement, the company announced Mirco Toy Box, a line of miniature collectibles that can fit in the palm of the hand.

The creators see the product doing well in the miniature collectible toy market, a segment in which it succeeded with its Wacky Packages Minis and World’s Smallest releases.

Consumers can now gather entries from the Toy Hall of Fame, collecting tiny replica pieces from brands that include Nerf, Barbie, Monopoly, Hot Wheels, Transformers, and Rubik’s Cube.

Each blind box includes five mini toys, one mini sticker, and a checklist to track a growing collection. Once opened, the packages transform into a display box.

The toy sizes are only ¾ to 1¼ inches, hence the recommendation for kids 8 and up.

Micro Toy Box is available now at Target, Amazon, Big Lots, and Meijer for $6.99.

Although the Super Impulse product line eliminates the risk of parents barking shins on playthings left unattended, the risk remains of stepping on these tiny toys in bare feet in the dark.
