75th Philly Non-Sports Card Show Returns to Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks This Weekend

After 14 years in Allentown, The Philly Non-Sports Card Show returns to the Philadelphia area for its 75th show, to be held Oct 16 and 17 at The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA (100 Station Ave.).

The show is the premier event for non-sport and entertainment trading card collectors, continuously running since the 1980s.

The 75th show features five stellar trading card artists, the return of Philadelphia-based trading card manufacturer Rittenhouse Archives, and an in-person appearance by Adam Bomb from Topps’ Garbage Pail Kids!Collectors will find many of the country’s leading dealers of non-sport cards (trading cards depicting movies, television shows, comics, history, and more) when the show opens on Saturday morning at 10 a.m.

Five artists will be on-hand to display and sell their card creations including David Gross, Ingrid Hardy, Robert Jimenez, Smokin’ Joe, and Lily Mercado, Two of the artists, Ingrid Hardy and Smokin’ Joe, are traveling from afar to exhibit at the show — Hardy from Quebec, Canada and Smokin’ Joe from California.

Fans will not want to miss the opportunity to meet Adam Bomb, the iconic spokesperson from Topps’ Garbage Pail Kids series. Adam Bomb will be available for photos with collectors throughout the show.

Trading card manufacturers The Collector Connection, Magic Marker Art, Rittenhouse Archives, and Sidekick will be exhibiting as well as Cryptozoic Entertainment traveling to the show from California to show off their exciting upcoming releases.

Collectors will also be treated to several free exclusive promotional cards created especially for the show.

Two of those cards are a very special set of licensed Topps promo cards celebrating the 35th anniversary of Garbage Pail Kids (or in this case, 36 years since the Philly Show was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic).

The Philly Show boasts the best in non-sports. Everything from The Avenger to The X-Files. All collectors are invited to attend.

Admission to the Philly Non-Sports Card Show is just $10 daily. A two-day pass may be purchased for $15. Show hours are Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
