A&T Chevrolet continues its commitment to the community and the teamwork taught through youth sports. Its recent $500 donation to Pennridge Little League will purchase necessary gear, including safety equipment for catchers. The donation was covered by Michelle Kane for the Doylestown Patch

The gift was part of the Chevy Corporation’s Youth Baseball and Softball program.

This national effort includes equipment donations and educational opportunities with Major- and Minor-League professionals to instill a love of the national sport. Since its 2006 inception, the outreach has helped 8.5 million kids, offered nearly 2,000 clinics, and donated 163,000 equipment kits.

Pennridge Little League, Perkasie, oversees the play of  650 little league teammates. It provides intramural baseball programs in the spring and fall, tournament and travel play during the spring and summer, and winter workouts for off-season training.

“Pennridge Little League is an amazing organization,” said Jeff Allen, A&T Chevrolet president. “We are grateful for the coaches and volunteers who invest in our children, and we’re glad that the kids can be on the field this season.”
