With many of us still stuck at home with no clear indication of when that could change, now is the ideal time to expand your board game collection by shopping at one of the best board game shops in the region, Lookin’ For Games in Levittown, writes Nick Vadala for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Board games have proven to be the perfect time-killer during the pandemic, with major manufactures Hasbro and Mattel, the makers of Monopoly and Uno, reporting a huge increase in sales.
More involved games are also seeing a resurgence, including Dungeons & Dragons, which saw a 35 percent rise in revenue last year.
And despite being just two years old, Lookin’ For Games has established itself as a great spot for local gamers. It offers everything from regular board game standards and trading card games to RPGs and any related accessories.
The store also partners with Extra Life, which means that you can help the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Additionally, there are some limited in-store events available, such as miniature painting nights.
