When the world’s best soccer players take the field at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the goals they’re shooting at may have been welded together just down the road in Quakertown, reports Rick Holmes for WFMZ-TV 69 News.

Kwik Goal, a Richland Township manufacturer with more than three decades in the business, was tapped by FIFA in the fall of 2024 to supply official equipment for the tournament. The company has since built goalposts, netting, and player benches for World Cup venues in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, along with dozens of training facilities.

Owner and president Anthony Caruso spoke about the company’s presence in the region and beyond. Caruso said, “If you’re going to any park, any pro stadium, most likely it will be our product. We’re very proud of that.”

Operating out of a 10-acre campus in Bucks County, Kwik Goal employs 65 people and turns out roughly 7,000 soccer nets a year for recreation leagues, colleges, professional clubs, and national teams.

The nets are made from high-tenacity polypropylene and must meet FIFA’s exact size and construction standards, a process that involves meticulous design work, welding, cutting, and painting at every step.

Product Operations Manager Jason Leh notes that the same care that goes into World Cup equipment also goes into gear headed for a local park. Whether it’s a Saturday morning youth league or the semifinals of the world’s most-watched sporting event, the standard doesn’t change.
