World Atlas recently released its ranking of the top 12 most adorable small towns in the state, and three Bucks County towns made the list, writes Jessica Dillinger for World Atlas.
The first Bucks County spot featured on the ranking, placed at sixth, is New Hope. Praised for its charming and welcoming atmosphere, this town is a vibrant cultural hub where the arts thrive.
There’s no shortage of museums, live music establishments and theaters to explore right by the Delaware River. After checking out a performance at the Bucks County Playhouse, visitors can explore the many boutiques, eateries, historic sites and antique shops for more fun.
The next town on the list, ranked in seventh place, is Doylestown. This lively area has plenty of activities for history buffs looking to learn something new.
Those in Doylestown can check out the remarkable Fonthill Castle and visit the Mercer Museum to take a step back in time. The James A. Michener Art Museum is another great spot featuring impressionist works from Pennsylvania artists.
The final place on the list is Yardley, which placed tenth. Yardley’s location on the Delaware River lends itself to the town’s picturesque beauty.
Alongside the town’s various festivals and farmers markets, visitors can enjoy 18th- and 19th-century architecture. Outdoor adventurers can check out Bowman’s Hill Tower and Washington Crossing Park.
