Power Home Remodeling in Chester and Sheetz were both once again named to a list of 100 Best Companies to Work for by global business media company Fortune Media and Great Place to Work, writes Donna Rovins for The Mercury.
This is the eighth year that Power Home Remodeling, a national exterior home remodeler headquartered in Chester, has been named to the list.
It’s the 11th consecutive year for convenience store chain Sheetz.
The Great Place to Work annual ranking recognizes companies with a high-trust workplace environment.
“Trust in the organization is a leading indicator of business performance,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work, in a statement. “When employees trust their leaders, they are more willing to give extra effort, embrace innovation like new AI tools, and deliver a better experience to customers.”
Power Home Remodeling, family-owned and operated, placed 20th this year. It operates 26 offices in 18 states, employing just under 5,000 employees. It was founded in 1992.
Sheetz placed 32nd on the list, its highest placement to date. Sheetz has just over 27,000 employees.
The rankings were determined by confidential feedback from 1.3 million employees in the U.S., matched against HR data from participating companies.
