Nothing Bundt Cakes, a popular bakery franchise with more than 700 locations across North America, is expanding with a new bakery planned for Richland Township, writes Ryan Kneller for WFMZ 69 News.
The new shop will open in the Trainer’s Corner shopping center, taking over the former GameStop space.
Richland Township is one of two Pennsylvania locations that are being planned by the franchise, with a second site slated for Lower Nazareth Township. Opening dates have not yet been announced.
Nothing Bundt Cakes was founded by Debra Shwetz and Dena Tripp in Las Vegas in 1997. The pair shared a dream “to bake happiness into every bite.”
Last May, the company marked the opening of its 700th bakery as expansion continues across the nation and Canada. The goal is to reach 1,000 locations by 2027.
Visitors can choose from a wide selection of handcrafted bundt cakes available for pickup or delivery. There will also be options ranging from bundtinis, the brand’s cupcake-sized treats, to personal-sized bundtlets and full-size bundt cakes measuring 8 and 10 inches.
A variety of decorations and gift items, including candles and balloons, are also available.
