It’s a gem of a holiday season as Longwood Gardens invites guests to step into a shimmering world inspired by the brilliance of gemstones and the magic of the holidays.
On view through Jan. 11, 2026, this year’s A Longwood Christmas surrounds guests in dazzling color, radiant light, and extraordinary horticultural artistry.
Throughout the conservatories and across the grounds, towering trees sparkle in shades of sapphire, ruby, emerald, amethyst, and gold. Crystal accents and gemstone-inspired lighting create new views from every angle.
In the Music Room, an 18-foot Fraser fir rises dramatically from an oversized jewelry box, topped with a sweeping ruby-red bow. Gilded mirrors, gleaming ornaments, and radiant mineral specimens lend the room the atmosphere of a gilded gala.
Outdoors, more than half-a-million lights lead guests through the Gardens, illuminating decorated trees and glowing water features. Guests can admire the Wildlife Tree adorned with faux pearls and gilded oyster shells, oversized gems on floating on the Large Lake, and dancing lights set to music in the Italian Water Garden.
The popular Meadow Tunnel returns and the beloved Garden Railway continues to delight as it winds through a miniature Longwood landscape.
A Longwood Christmas is on view Nov. 21, 2025 through Jan. 11, 2026. Admission to the holiday display is by Timed Admission Ticket, with tickets purchased in advance for a specific date and time.
