Madrigal Pharmaceuticals Expands As Breakthrough Drug Fuels Growth

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals is relocating to a larger West Conshy headquarters as sales surge and its MASH treatment drives rapid growth.

West Conshohocken’s Madrigal Pharmaceuticals is relocating its headquarters to accommodate rapid expansion, reports John George for The Philadelphia Business Journal.

The creator of the first FDA-approved oral treatment for MASH has begun transitioning into three floors of Keystone’s 1K1 building on Conshohocken State Road. The new 54,000-square-foot space is an 86% increase from its Four Tower Bridge offices. The move reflects Madrigal’s dramatic workforce growth from just 92 employees in early 2023 to nearly 900 today.

CEO Bill Sibold said the relocation aligns with the company’s momentum following strong sales of its flagship drug Rezdiffra. The drug generated more than $600 million in the first three quarters of 2025. Recent regulatory approvals in both the U.S. and Europe have also fueled the hiring of additional research, sales, and international support teams.

Madrigal expects about 250 employees to be based at the new West Conshy site by mid-2026. The headquarters will feature angled architectural elements inspired by the company’s circular logo and office layouts designed to maximize natural light for all staff.

As Madrigal advances next-generation MASH therapies, the expansion strengthens its standing as a rising hub for life sciences innovation.
