Take a trip to Wonderland at Doylestown’s Snarky Tea House, offering a variety of delicious sips and snacks along with a retail shop filled with fun items, reports Natalie Jason for 6abc.
The tea house is run by manager Courtney Nicholas, the sister of Snarky Tea’s founder, Jenni-Lyn Williams.
The company was started by Williams nine years ago as an online business selling loose-leaf teas.
Wanting to have a physical shop where customers could relax, Williams created the tea house.
The shop features eclectic “Alice in Wonderland”-themed decorations, including a wall of clocks and statues from a California movie prop company. Each wall decoration was handmade by Williams herself.
Seating time lasts for 90 minutes, and reservations must be made ahead of time.
Once seated, customers can enjoy one of the many rotating tea flavors along with a three-tiered tower of sandwiches and sweets. Two scones are served with tea, and sandwich options include cucumber, chicken salad, and turkey.
The Snarky Tea House shop features over 20 flavors of tea, including Dandelion Detox, Strawberry Fields, and the color-changing Blue Pineapple Mango.
Customers can also purchase their own Steezie, which is used to turn steeped tea into iced tea.
