On Oct. 10, Zamir Gotta, the famed fixer and friend of the late Anthony Bourdain, will be hosting a special event at Caleb’s American Kitchen in Lahaska, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.
“Table Talk with Zamir Gotta” will take place from 6 to 9 PM, giving guests the chance to enjoy an elaborate four-course dinner while hearing stories from Gotta.
The dishes, crafted by Chef Caleb, have been inspired by Bourdain and Gotta’s trips around the globe.
Gotta will be handing out signed copies of his memoir “The Fixer & the Chef: My Adventures With and Without Anthony Bourdain.” Those in attendance will learn about special behind-the-scenes moments from the pair’s travels to places like Ukraine, Russia and Uzbekistan.
“Anthony believed that food was about more than what’s on the plate—it was about people, culture, and connection,” said Gotta. “This evening is about honoring that vision—sharing food, stories, and friendship.”
Tickets are available for $80 and include Gotta’s complimentary “Peace & Love” vodka toast along with the meal and signed book.
