Yardley is the home of Charcoal BYOB, an unassuming but delicious steakhouse that offers some of the best braised short ribs in the area, writes Claire Allard for Family Destinations Guide.
The menu features a variety of options that are sure to make your stomach growl and your mouth water.
Customers can get started by selecting one or several of their starters, with dishes like roasted beet salad. Among the other options are cucumber and summer squash salad, wax beans, prosciutto & melon, coconut calamari, and sourdough spätzle. Their bread is another fan favorite, served with Vermont butter.
The pasta section of their menu, titled “noodles,” features creative spins with perfectly balanced flavors. The rye & gochujang radiatori, a delicious option, features arugula, bacon bolognese and parmigiano-reggiano.
The shrimp carbonara, mac & cheesesteak and ink & preserved lemon & parsley girelle are also tasty items.
As for the main courses, the braised short rib features ceci beans, English peas, Meyer lemon and mint.
Customers can choose from other courses like wild halibut, Yardley hot chicken and crispy pork cutlet.
Don’t skip dessert either. Charcoal’s menu includes sweet treats like brioche doughnuts, the doughnut sundae and polenta budino.
