The Plymouth Meeting Mall has children in mind as it embraces the trend of transforming traditional retail spaces into immersive destinations.
Two new tenants are set to bring a fresh dose of family-friendly interactive fun to the Montco shopping center.
DreamLand Adventure will be a soft play area designed for toddlers, according to the mall’s website. The space will offer safe, energetic play while parents can relax and keep a watchful eye nearby. DreamLand will offer membership options and party packages.
Stemulis will be an interactive STEM center with hands-on learning for kids. The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) center will feature six immersive areas, according to the Plymouth Meeting Mall, including Virtual Reality and drone experiences.
These additions reflect a growing national shift from typical retail spaces to immersive ‘retail-tainment’ hubs. Last year, the King of Prussia Mall announced the upcoming Netflix House, an interactive spot dedicated to Netflix original content.
With upcoming next-gen attractions like DreamLand and Stemulis, the Plymouth Meeting Mall is carving out a new identity in an ever-changing retail landscape.
