His administration has pushed forward a rare five-industry economic growth plan, championed infrastructure efforts like the I-95 rebuild, and secured major wins on education and senior tax relief.
But his national ascent has come with scrutiny. A sexual harassment scandal involving longtime ally Mike Vereb cast a shadow on his record for internal accountability. Shapiro claims he wasn’t informed until months after the allegations, sparking skepticism even from his base.
