Gwynedd Mercy University will host its 38th Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, Sept. 29.
The event is sponsored by Irwin & Leighton, a King of Prussia-based construction firm, and will be held at the Manufacturers’ Golf & Country Club in Fort Washington. Space is limited to 124 golfers.
The tournament is a scramble format in which everyone plays their ball from the best drive.
The day’s itinerary includes:
- Registration/lunch at 10:30 AM
- Shotgun start at 12 PM
- Cocktails/dinner/awards immediately following play
There will be opportunities to win prizes throughout the day, including the hole-in-one prize of a 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S.
The event is GMercyU’s largest fundraising effort and supports the university’s Annual Giving program, which enhances the student experience by supporting areas of greatest need. The Annual Giving program is a key component of GMercyU’s current “Mercy in Motion” comprehensive campaign, which supports the ambitious vision to expand the university’s reputation for preparing professionals who can navigate a changing world and make it a better place.
The campaign elevates a commitment to fostering positive, global change through higher education firmly rooted in the Mercy tradition.
In late 2024, GMercyU surpassed its original “Mercy in Motion” goal of $25 million more than a year ahead of schedule, raising more than $28 million since formally launching in January 2022 with the support of more than 2,000 donors. The university is continuing this momentum by increasing the goal by the campaign’s conclusion in December 2025.
