With warmer days ahead ushering in the official rooftop dining season, there are plenty of great rooftop restaurants and bars to choose from in the Philadelphia suburbs, including some Bucks County rooftop dining, writes Hira Qureshi for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Among the eight best, two are located in Bucks County.
Maxwell’s On Main in Doylestown offers lively Sunday brunches on its spacious second-floor rooftop patio.
Boards piled high with eggs, chorizo hash, fried chicken and waffles, praline French toast, and much more are guaranteed to satiate your hunger, while bubbly mimosas and smooth espresso martinis will take care of your thirst.
You can enjoy all of this while indulging in some leisurely people-watching down bustling North Main Street.
Rams Pint House & Rooftop Lounge in Perkasie opens its inviting rooftop deck over the weekends. Its hearty gastropub menu will also not leave you wanting, with crowd-pleasing choices including fish and chips, burgers, cheesesteaks, wings, Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, and other satisfying dishes.
Meanwhile, you can quench your thirst with craft cocktails – the raspberry Cosmo is a local favorite – along with mocktails, seasonal beers and ciders, and nonalcoholic beers.
