New Hope has earned a place on two of USA TODAY’s 10Best lists published last week: Best Small Town Cultural Scene and Best Small Town in the Northeast, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.
The popular Bucks County town, which has become a magnet for celebrities in recent years, ranked sixth for its cultural scene and tenth best in the Northeast.
The publication described New Hope as “a small town that never disappoints,” highlighting its eclectic shops, diverse dining options, beautiful historic architecture, numerous galleries, and vibrant theater scene.
New Hope, a haven for many renowned artists for over a century, is no stranger to such recognitions. Just last year, it was featured in Travel + Leisure’s America’s Best Small Towns 2024 series, where it was called “a mecca for theater, history, and charming hospitality” and “one of the most LGBTQ+-friendly destinations in the U.S.”
USA TODAY compiles its 10Best lists based on nominations from a panel of industry experts, which are then vetted by the 10Best editors. The final set of nominees is open to public voting for a period of four weeks.
