DunlapSLK, the Chalfont-based certified public accounting and advisory firm, has named L. Brent Kolb its new Managing Director.

Kolb succeeds Dennis Dunlap, who will continue in his role as one of the firm’s shareholders. Dunlap’s focus will be on serving clients while also maintaining his position as a member of the firm’s governing Board of Directors, of which Kolb is also a member.

Kolb has spent the past 30 years in public accounting. In addition to serving on the board, Kolb oversees the firm’s IT department and provides accounting, tax, and consulting services for a number of privately held companies and family-owned businesses.

“Dennis has provided exceptional leadership over the past several years,” Kolb said. “I am excited about what the future holds for DunlapSLK and am looking forward to working with our leadership team and phenomenal staff to continue building on our past success and moving the firm forward.”

Kolb possesses a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Ursinus College and a Master of Taxation degree from Villanova University. Kolb, a CPA, is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves as a Board Member and Treasurer of Living Branches, Chairperson of the Living Branches Foundation, and a Member of the Dock Mennonite Academy Finance Committee.
