Winter is in full swing, and with these frigid temperatures, there’s no better place to be than somewhere warm. Cuddle up close by the fire for a romantic evening at these three Bucks County restaurants, writes Michele Haddon for Bucks County Courier Times.
King George II Inn: Bristol’s King George II Inn, which is believed to be the nation’s oldest-running inn, is known for its American dishes and beautiful views. It’s open Wednesday-Sunday from 11:30 PM to 9 PM.
The Narrows Restaurant and Bar: Based in Upper Black Eddy, The Narrows has two fireplaces and the perfect atmosphere for romance. Admire the views of the Delaware Canal State Park and Delaware River as you indulge in modern tavern favorites. It’s open Wednesday–Saturday from 12 PM to 9 PM, brunch on Sunday from 10 AM to 2:30 PM, and dinner on Sunday from 3–8 PM.
Plumsteadville Inn: The Plumsteadville Inn has a large stone fireplace in the dining room and another fireplace that can be reserved in the lounge.
