Elements Landscaping has cleared a roughly two-acre parcel on the 500 block of the Levittown Parkway in Bristol Township to prepare for its new headquarters, writes JD Mullane for the Bucks County Courier Times.
The company’s owner Larry Fulford was granted permission in April by the council to build the storage facility, staging area, and offices at the site.
As the land develops, residents can expect to see clearing and construction equipment appearing on the parcel. There is currently a large berm along the Parkway from clearing topsoil, but that will be spread over the site after infrastructure has been installed.
The property will feature a 50 foot by 80 foot metal pole barn, which will house the company’s equipment. Giant Arborvitae trees will surround the site.
Fulford said everything should be finished by late April.
But even before the work began, Councilman Pat Antonello was raising concerns about the suitability of the location for the business.
“From Tullytown to New Falls Road, it’s churches and houses,” he said. “There’s no other commercial developments on that road, and it doesn’t seem like there’s a need for one on that road.”
