Welltower, an Ohio-based real estate firm, has acquired two Bucks County senior living communities for a total of $42.7 million.

Welltower, an Ohio-based real estate firm focused on the healthcare industry, has acquired two Bucks County senior living communities for a total of $42.7 million, writes John George for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Heartis Bucks County, located in Warminster, was sold for $25.1 million, while Heartis Yardley went for $17.6 million. Texas-based Heartis was the seller.

Welltower has leased the two communities to Kansas-based Legend Senior Living.

According to Legend Senior Living president Matt Buchanan, the two Bucks County communities feature modern designs and amenities highly sought after in senior living.

“We feel they will be a great fit for us,” said Buchanan. “Our goal is for a seamless transition for residents.”

The Warminster community is operating as Revelle Senior Living of Bucks County, and the Yardley community as The Remington of Yardley Personal Care & Memory Care.

Revelle provides independent living, personal care, and memory care services, while The Remington provides personal care and memory care.

Both communities feature apartments in various sizes with several floor plan options. Amenities include full-service dining, a bistro, full-service salon and barber, and on-site rehab space, among many other things.
