Upper Makefield Mansion with Extensive Outdoor Space Hits Market for Millions
An almost 16,000-square-foot home with extensive outdoor space in Upper Makefield close to Jericho National Golf Club in New Hope has recently hit the market for $7.25 million, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The current owners purchased the home six years ago and spent the next two years renovating the property, noted co-listing agents Jack Lacey and Perry Epstein of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox and Roach.
“It’s as close to a new home without getting a new home,” said Lacey.
The first floor impresses with its lovely foyer, elegant formal dining room, the comfortable den, a living room that sits below the balcony that overlooks the space, and a chef’s kitchen with a large island.
The primary suite on the second floor features a 700-square-foot walk-in closet, a coffee bar, and a glass fireplace.
“There’s no house in Bucks County when it comes to the walk-in closet and improvements and amenities,” said Lacey. “I don’t think there’s a house out there that could compare to this.”
The outside space is equally as impressive with its nearly Olympic-sized swimming pool, an outdoor kitchen, and a putting green, with many other amenities on offer.
