Philadelphia Phillies catcher Garrett Stubbs recently exchanged vows with his longtime love Evyn Murray in a romantic wedding in Mexico, writes Ashlyn Robinette for People.

The wedding took place at Solaz, a luxury Collection Resort in Los Cabos.

“It was exactly what we envisioned from the beginning. A roller coaster of emotions,” Murray said. “At one point the wedding party was dancing down the aisle, the next we were crying happy tears during vows and then taking shots at the altar with all our guests. It was a romantic fiesta.” 

The festivities included a three-day destination wedding celebration.

It kicked off on December 12 with an intimate boat party DJ’d by Caly Music. The following day, a pool party with custom trucker hats, an open bar, and appetizers was held. Afterward, a rehearsal dinner took place on the beach where guests enjoyed an Italian meal out of a gorgeous floral airstream, followed by drinks.

The wedding was attended by 150 of their closest friends and family.

As newlyweds, Stubbs and Murray said they hope to start a family together soon.

“We both understand the challenges of raising a family and couldn’t be more excited to take on those challenges together,” Murray said.
