See Which Bucks County Company Made Inc.’s ‘Best in Business’ List
Seven businesses from the Greater Philadelphia area have been named to Inc.’s 2024 Best in Business list, including one headquartered in New Hope, and two others that have branches in Bucks County or are involved in a Bucks County-area project.
The awards program recognizes businesses that had “an outsize impact” over the past year from product launches, community engagement, client outcomes and “all-around” wins, writes Lisa Dukart for Philadelphia Business Journal.
Inc. awarded online cannabis education platform Cannavision Institute a “Best in Business” in the Education category.
The Cannavision Institute, a division of the Ohio-based Stautzenberger College, is headquartered in New Hope. It offers educational resources, including courses about the cannabis industry covering cultivation, processing, extraction, dispensary operations and compliance.
The diploma programs include a seven-month associates degree program in cannabis studies.
Carr & Duff, an electrical contractor in Huntington Valley, took a Construction honor. Among its projects was an electrical vehicle charging station at Parx Casino in Bensalem.
Customers Bank, based in Reading, won in the Financial Services category. It has branches in Bucks, Chester, Philadelphia and Berks counties.
There were 241 companies in total nationwide, with seven based in Greater Philadelphia.
