Bucks County Town Makes New York Times’ List of Best Fall Foliage Outside New England

The Bucks County town made the list of seven beautiful places for fall foliage outside of New England.
New Hope is nestled on the banks of the Delaware River. This quaint town is filled with antique shops, historic buildings, and museums.
The home to the Bucks County Playhouse, New Hope is both a theater hot spot and a popular LGBTQ+ destination.
The town and its home county offer plenty of red- and gold-dappled groves to drive through. You can see some of the county’s beautiful 50 covered bridges on the way as well.
For those who prefer trains, there is the New Hope Railroad, which offers a two-hour train ride through the autumn splendor.
Passengers get to ride in gorgeous restored 1920s vintage passenger coaches. The train rides along the historical Reading Railroad’s New Hope Branch route as a guide recounts the area’s rich history.
