Wawa, Kelces Team Up for New Commercial That Feature the Couple
A new commercial brings together two of Delaware County’s favorite things—Wawa and the Kelces, writes Henry Savage for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
A new Wawa commercial , actually directed by Kylie Kelce, looks at the post-Eagles retirement life of Jason and Kylie Kelce, as they navigate the demands of family life.
In the commercial, Jason uses Wawa to make dinner time and morning lunch-packing easier.
Wawa considers the Kelces to be a good fit for their brand because of the couple’s connection to the Greater Philadelphia community.
“Our purpose is to fulfill lives, and when Kylie expressed interest in exploring potential career interests by helping us direct our commercial, we were happy to have her as a wing mate in the creative process!” said Todd Miller, Sr., Director of Brand Strategy for Wawa.
Kylie found that directing the Wawa commercial with Jason was similar to how she manages her family each day.
“I try to go in with a plan, but distractions happen, so we just take everything in stride and do our best,” she said.
The commercial appears on Wawa’s social media and will air on television in mid-September.
