Bucks County Has 1/5th of Pennsylvania’s Wealthiest Neighborhoods

Bucks County contains many of PA’s wealthiest neighborhoods , writes Allen Lee for Money Inc.

Newtown Township is one of the state’s wealthiest neighborhoods, ranking 24th on the list of 50, thanks to its high median income and property values well above the national average.

The Bucks County seat, Doylestown, at 26, has a rich history and thriving cultural scene. Its median household income is $100,000.

Richboro, at 27, is a picturesque suburban neighborhood in Northampton Township.

It’s a mix of large single-family homes and upscale developments.

Washington Crossing, at 28, where George Washington famously crossed the Delaware River, provides a serene riverside landscape.

Upper Makefield, at 31, has grand mansions surrounded by greenery and is known for its luxurious homes and expansive properties.

New Hope, at 36, is a scenic, affluent borough known for its charm, attracting wealthy residents and visitors. Many homes are historic or luxurious.

Flemington, at 37, has a sprawling landscape of manicured custom-built estates nesting in the countryside.

Langhorne, at 40, has stately historic homes in a picturesque suburb and also draws crowds to Sesame Place and Core Creek Park.

Lower Southampton, at 41, features grand mansions, manicured lawns, and tree-lined streets.
