Nurse Manager

Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality focused Nurse Manager to join its team. This position is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents and delegate and supervise the care and services provided by Licensed Nurses and Quality of Life Specialists. 

Administer medications, perform treatments and procedures, obtain specimens as needed, and complete documentation as required.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Nurse Manager:

• Document resident status as per policy.
• Provide daily supervision to assigned staff and directly provide nursing care to residents as assigned.
• Scheduling of staff and secure replacement staff for absences to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Participate in the admission of new residents.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent life-style of residents.
• Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and re-assessment of each resident.
• Provide daily reports to the Director of Health Services concerning facility conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
• Participate in daily meetings in the absence of the DOHS. 

Here are a few of the qualifications:

• Minimum LPN/LVN degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum on (1) year experience in Nursing experience in assisted living, memory care preferred.

Driver

Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality focused Driver to join its team. This position is responsible for transporting residents to the grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing housekeeping duties as required.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy. 

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required
• CDL preferred but not required!

Personal Care Home Supervisor

Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality focused Personal Care Home Administrator to join its team.

This role is responsible for the planning, coordinating, and directing of a wide and varied scope of activities and programming which meet the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, vocational, social, physical, and environmental needs of the residents.

The Personal Care Home Administrator is responsible for the overall operation of Personal Care.

The duties for this role include:

• Supervise the Memory Care Manager, Scheduler, Clinical Director, and Sales. 
• Oversee all Operations for all of Personal Care.
• Participate in the integration of and ongoing training of the Heartfelt Connections Memory Care program at the community level in tandem with Memory Care.
• Maintain medical charting and required documentation under scope state regulatory guidelines for appropriate licensing and corporate policies.
• Serve as the department representative and coordinator of the Quality Assurance program for nursing services.
• Labor budgeting with guidance from business office.
• Will lead daily stand up as the administrator.

Qualifications for this position include:

• Hold a Valid Personal Care Home Administrators license in PA.
• Have knowledge in all areas of local Health Department, OSHA, and other state regulatory agencies relevant to healthcare services.
• Have Good communication skills (oral and written).
• Have Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products.
• LPN or RN Preferred.
