Bucks County’s restaurant scene has been buzzing this week, with McAlister’s announcing its reopening and Firebirds gearing up to open its first location in the area, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.
McAlister’s Deli Restaurant And Sandwich Shop first opened at Warrington Crossing in March before closing in September. The restaurant is now set to reopen on November 20 under new management.
The owners of the Harrisburg McAlister’s announced in a social media post they will be taking over the Bucks County eatery best known for its southern hospitality, large deli sandwiches, giant spuds, and of course its famous sweet tea.
Meanwhile, Firebirds is preparing to open its newest location at Prickett Preserve in Yardley. The new eatery will welcome its first customers on Monday. This is Firebird’s fifth location in the Philadelphia region and the first in Bucks County.
In other dining news, The Boiler Room in Dublin Town Center recently added Sunday Brunch to its offerings, and Pru Thai, a popular New Jersey Thai restaurant, has expanded to Lambertville. Meanwhile, Wawa has closed its drive-thru location in Falls Township.
