Three Local Country Clubs Featured on List of Region’s Most Asset-Rich Country Club

Three Chester County country clubs are among ten nonprofit country clubs in the region with the largest asset values.

To compile the list, Business Journals analyzed IRS forms for nonprofit country clubs for 2022. 

Waynesborough Country Club in Paoli ranked highest on the list in third place with an asset value of $31.01 million. The club grew its assets by eleven percent compared to 2021. 

Whitford Country Club in Exton is next in ninth place with an asset value of $16.2 million, which represents a ten percent increase compared to the previous year. 

The list is rounded out by St. Davids Golf Club in Wayne in tenth place. St. Davids reported an asset value of $14.41 million in 2022, which is an increase of four percent from 2021. According to its most recent Form 990 filing, the club also increased its asset value slightly in 2023 to $14.72 million.
