Hershey’s Mill Golf Club in West Chester, owned by the Wooldridge family, is up for sale for $9.9 million, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal

The 45-year-old, 133-acre private golf club includes an 18-hole and an almost 6,500-yard golf course along with a 25,000-square-foot clubhouse that features a pro shop, two dining rooms, a 160-seat banquet room, as well as 182 parking spaces.

The golf club is located at 401 Chandler Drive, within the Hershey’s Mill Community. The gated 55-plus adult community with 1,720 homes includes walking and biking paths, community pools, pickleball and tennis courts, along with a Giant-anchored shopping center.

The out-of-state-based owner of the golf club is selling the property because it is not one of their core assets, according to Chris Charnas, a broker with Links Capital Advisors who is marketing the property for its sale.

The marketing brochure for the club states that the business has revenue of almost $7 million and is right now “poised for revenue and income growth with a fresh approach to marketing and membership.”
