Niche has released its new 2025 Best Colleges list, and Philadelphia and its surrounding area had some representation, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The University of Pennsylvania ranked No. 6 overall on the list, moving up one spot from last year’s ranking.
Penn was also listed as the top institution for business education once again, thanks to the programs offered through its Wharton School.
Drexel University is a newcomer to the top 100 of the list, ranking at No. 99 on this year’s list as the only other Philly school to make it to the top 100.
Of the top 15 colleges in the Philadelphia area that made the 2025 list, six are located in Philly.
Beyond Penn and Drexel, the other four Philadelphia schools that made the list were Temple University, Thomas Jefferson University, Saint Joseph’s University, and La Salle University.
