Carpenter faced the fiery challenge of eating progressively spicier wings while answering questions from host Sean Evans

In the episode, which premiered Thursday, Carpenter discussed her songwriting techniques, fan interactions, and her memorable performance at Bethlehem Musikfest in 2016.

The Espresso singer started strong but soon felt the heat, jokingly asking Evans if he’s ever been sued for the challenge’s intensity.

One highlight was Carpenter’s revelation that her hit song Nonsense almost didn’t make it onto her 2022 album “Emails I Can’t Send.”

As the wings grew hotter, Carpenter reminisced about her childhood and career milestones, including her headline performance at Bethlehem Musikfest, which marked a turning point in her career.

Despite the heat, she managed to draw a humorous cartoon for Evans, capturing her spicy Hot Ones experience.
