When Liz Hawkins noticed her coffee shop customers gravitating toward her unique sodas, an idea was born, writes Adriana Herrera for the Bucks County Courier Times.  

Two years later, Fizzy Mama in Peddler’s Village, Lahaksa started offering a fresh twist on the classic soda shop. 

Hawkins, along with her husband Doug, launched Fizzy Mama while continuing to run their retro-modern coffee shop and eatery in the same village.  

The vibrant shop offers custom soda mixes, milkshakes, mocktails, and treats, all set against a retro diner backdrop designed by their graphic designer daughter.  

Fizzy Mama attracts a diverse crowd, including many sober customers looking for a social space outside of traditional bars.  

The shop serves a variety of sodas, syrup flavors, and mocktails like the popular Mai Mai and Philadelphia Eagles drink. They also offer gelato and freshly baked cookies. 

Hawkins hopes to grow Fizzy Mama into a franchise, bringing this unique soda experience to more locations.
