Trump Store in Bucks County Sees Sales Surge After Conviction
Following the recent conviction of former President Donald Trump on 34 felony charges, The Trump Store in Bensalem is experiencing a surge in sales, writes Aliya Schneider for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Co-owner Mike Domanico quickly stocked 50 “Free Trump” T-shirts, anticipating a rush of customers.
By 3 PM Friday, only four shirts remained.
Domanico and his wife, Monica, who co-owns the store, also set up a mobile shop at Target World gun shop in Chalfont.
Their inventory includes T-shirts, flags, children’s apparel, greeting cards, and locally made Trump gnomes.
President Joe Biden addressed the verdict, emphasizing the impartiality of the judicial process.
Despite this, Domanico and many customers believe the trial was unfair. Sales of “political prisoner” themed merchandise are expected to remain high.
Store manager Lisa von Deylen noted increased activity following significant events involving Trump, such as the Mar-a-Lago raid.
