Bucks County Ice Cream Brand Owowcow Arrives in Cape May
Owowcow, Bucks County’s beloved premium ice cream brand, is expanding and is now available to buy at locations in Cape May, New Jersey, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.
The award-winning small-batch ice cream can now be purchased at three Jersey Shore locations operated by Cape Resorts. The ice cream brand already has five shops across Bucks, Northampton, and Hunterdon counties, in Chalfont, Wrightstown, Lambertville, Ottsville, and Easton.
The brand currently offers eight handmade, locally-sourced flavors, such as Madagascar Vanilla, I Hate Chocolate, and Blueberry Lemon.
The Rusty Nail Bar & Restaurant also offers ice cream pops and ice cream sandwiches, as well as Bowwowcow ice cream for dogs, while assorted pints of Owowcow ice cream are available at the Market at Beach Plum Farm.
The brand will continue to source its ingredients locally for its New Jersey locations.
“The work we do with local farms is the core of our business,” said Owowcow’s founder and master ice cream maker John Fezzuoglio.
“We integrate the finest, freshest ingredients picked at the peak of perfection into our ice creams, and we’re really excited to utilize Jersey blueberries, peaches, and tomatoes in our products this summer.”
