The property group redeveloping Doylestown’s Barn Plaza got the green light from the township to move forward with its plan, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.

The plan includes demolishing structures belonging to Regal Cinema Barn Theater, constructing three new buildings to make space for new retail outlets and restaurants.

Brixmor Property Group, the leasing and development company that owns the 237,681 square-foot center also wants to construct additional access from the site of the former theater to Route 611

The township approved multiple variances on the conditions of the developer addressing traffic circulation, stormwater management, landscaping, and impervious surfaces.

Wholefoods and Barnes & Noble will also join the shopping center in the former Marshall’s & Homegoods space.

Fast casual restaurant honeygrow will be joining later this year.
