Philadelphia Phillies legends and former players stopped by Yardley Country Club to take part in the Richie Ashburn-Harry Kalas Foundation Golf Tournament, writes Dino Ciliberti for the Patch.

They were joined at the charity event by Philadelphia sports personalities.

Participants included Mike Schmidt, Rob Thomson, Larry Bowa, John Kruk, Ruben Amaro, Jr., and more.

The event aimed to raise funds for free baseball camps for kids throughout the Philadelphia region.

During the event, participating golf foursomes were paired with a former Phillies player, coach, announcer, or other Philadelphia sports personality.

There was also an award ceremony and a question-and-answer period led by the Master of Ceremonies Gregg Murphy.

Richie Ashburn-Harry Kalas Foundation is a nonprofit that offers free baseball camps for local children and uses the game as a teaching tool.
